Dedicated to colour, line and drape, eponymous womenswear label Louisa Parris, creates timeless versatile pieces. Merging luxurious fabrics with abstract patterns, Louisa’s collections reflect her passion for art, film, design and craft. Drawn with simplicity alongside refined pieces, the visually-striking designs embody vibrant and punchy colours, while remaining fuss-free and contemporary.

At the core of Louisa’s collections are styles and designs that transcend seasonality, occasion and trend. Some of our best-selling shapes are developed to be one size, designed to flatter all body types and shapes, whilst leveraging consistent cuts and styles each season, customers can look forward to new and changing designs in styles that they know fit their body.

Louisa continues to refine the styles and add new pieces that feel relevant. Movement and freedom of the body are ever important to her work and aesthetic.

Background

After completing a degree in Fashion Design & Marketing at Central St. Martins, Louisa designed costume for film, theatre and opera as well as womenswear brands Donna Karan, Mulberry and Ghost, before starting her line in 2011. Blending her exhaustive knowledge of historic creativity and design, Louisa's pieces blur the lines between clothing and wearable art.

Partnerships

Over the years, Louisa Parris has forged relationships with charities, art establishments, photographers, dance studios and film festivals to bring to life her pieces, show respect for the inspiration behind her designs and support women. Our most recent and current partnerships are below.

 FRIEZE Art Fair

Frieze Art Fair is an international contemporary art fair in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Louisa Parris has been a VIP partner for 3 years in London, with NYC and LA involvement next year. The partnership has seen the collaboration of limited edition neckerchiefs and pocket squares for the events VIP Clients, Speakers and Frieze Directors and something Louisa is continuing to design for.

Key Workers

At the beginning of 2020, Louisa called on social media for nominations of key workers in need of a colourful pick-me-up. Scarves and pocket squares were sent out, along with hand written notes of appreciation, until there was no stock left. At a time of feeling helpless to support PPE production, it was a gesture of thanks to the people who work tirelessly and selflessly for us all.
